The Inquisitors story doesn't start at the conclave.  She had a life before that, the journey that allowed her to become the hero that saved all of Thedas.  In the early years of Nimiria Trevelyan's life she assumed the Circle will be her life.  She grew to accept it, and find joy in the endless knowledge that she got to study.  Thedas, however, had different plans for her.  She must live through the collapse of the Ferelden Circle Tower during the blight, survive Krikwall, a place where mages are not welcomed, and then save all of Thedas and lead the Inquistion.  Luckily for her, Cullen Rutherford won't let her do it alone.
Disclaimer (because all fan-fiction writers need one) I do not own the Dragon Age franchise, anything associated with it, except my handful of original characters.  I also do not own the cover-photo.  That is from a talented artist who I don't know the name of because I found it on google. 
Please note that I take some creative license with the story line just to make it a little different.  I do believe I keep the essence of the series the same, but I do change some details so that it fits the story I am trying to tell.

Naturally being a former Templar, his training demands he slay her before she becomes a threat, but something else within him just won't allow him to harm her. But when Tala's death comes after the destruction of Haven, it is only by the intervention of the Maker that Tala returns to the living, but it comes with a price. Tala loses her wolf form and becomes an everyday normal human. Now struggling with being a pure human, Tala must come to terms with needing to rely on her new friends for help and finds that sometimes being an average human can lead to some pretty amazing experiences.

This story is a Solas x Inquisitor Lavellan fan fiction. It eventually deviates greatly from the actual Dragon Age: Inquisition plot line and focuses more on romance between characters. However, it does contain massive spoilers from all of The Dragon Age games. If you are unfamiliar with the games I provide enough background information and character creation that you will not be lost. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I have enjoyed writing it. I both love and broke for these characters. This book is complete with a little over 250 chapters. However, I have to type and revise it chapter by chapter because most of my writing was done by hand with a bunch of scribbles everywhere. It is a slower build-up to the spice and relationship as I lay out the foundation, but when it starts, it picks up drastically. Based off my character from Dragonage inquisition. I'm writing this more out of boredom than anything else, since getting into the game its just been giving me ideas an all. This is based on whats going on inside the inquisitors mind, the further I delve into the game, the more chapters will be added.
