(Wolverine/Logan x Mutant! Reader)

You followed the trail of smoke around the corner and there he was, leaning with his back against the brick wall.

He barely glanced up at you, a low grunt escaping his lips. His dirty brown jacket hung loosely around his shoulders.

"I thought I would find you here." You said softly, strolling over to him. Your worn Converse crunched the dead grass beneath them as you stood next to him.

He blew out a puff of smoke and readjusted the cigar in his mouth. "What do you want?"

You could see the sadness in those brown eyes of his. Something was troubling him.

You shuffled your feet nervously and brushed aside some hair from your face. "I want to know what's wrong."

"It's nothing.... nothing you would understand anyway..."

"No... I understand completely.."
