Starts during the episode Saved by the bell, after Tyler has been out looking for Jody and is unable to find her he returns to Ashdene ridge tired and emotional, as the night closes in he sits on his window ledge hoping that wherever Jody was she would be Okay. 

When Tyler does find Jody she's lying unconscious under a bridge he goes with her to the hospital and sit's beside her until she wakes up
