To put it in simple terms, (Y/N) (L/N) was an enigma of sorts in town. Though she frequented her little town every other day or so, and was friendly for the most part, there were but three things residents knew about her: she was involved in the impossibilities of the world; she came from a land abroad somewhere that she'd never named to anyone; she lived in the woods with an old lady that took her in.

However, even with some rumours about her flying around in her boring corner of the world, she considered it home. (Y/N) enjoyed living there in her secluded little cottage close to the small farming-based village. But then orders come from the king himself to leave her home and make her way to the capital city so she can escort a prince. The first thought was 'why me?', yet she never got an answer; the courier claimed not to know, and royals are too busy to explain themselves to a common plebeian. So she has no choice. But who said the journey would be an entirely negative thing? Perhaps it could spice up her boring commoner life, with either the journey itself or the introduction of romance.

Well that's one thing that wasn't written on the letter.
