Cells Work, Love Doesn't (Cells at Work!)

She can't.

She couldn't.

She stares into the bottomless pit of her emotions. He would always be there for her, wouldn't he?

Every time she was headed for the lungs, she would grab two cups of tea, and he would always be there, stopping by. And almost every time she found herself running away from another germ, he would arrive just in time to target it.

He would always listen to what she had to say, and she would listen to what he would teach.

It was too much of a coincidence, wasn't it?

She wonders if it made sense. She walks forward; she is greeted by the sight of a bunch of other cells. She pauses, doubts for a bit, but she gathers the courage to ask them,

"What is love?"
