A Halloween short story, inspired by Sony's "Venom" (2018)
Among the things Venom doesn't quite get about life on Earth, Halloween has to be the one he finds the most ridiculous. His embarrassment is only made worse when Eddie volunteers them for a children's event at the local hospital. But amongst the costumes and makeup, there are those prowling in the shadows of San Francisco with true mal intent. That's where Venom gets intrigued.

Venom: Venomous Friends
Jane Brooks was an average adult woman who was having a normal day and a stressful life as she walked to work in her safe and friendly neighborhood. But that is what she thought until she saw an incoming truck about to hit a child trying to receive their toy ball from the street. When Jane jumps into action to save the child, she manages to save them, but unfortunately for her. She dies in the process, doing the right thing to save someone. This brought her to be reincarnated to another world, where she could start over fresh as a baby named Lucy Hart. With the knowledge she has from her previous life, she takes the opportunity to become a journalist just like she wanted in her past life to help make a difference in the world by reporting the truth and everyday crimes. It takes her a lot of years to reach her goal of becoming a journalist and for her to realize what world she is in as she is in the same world as her favorite anti-hero Venom. Now, her new goal in life is to work alongside Eddie Brock aka Venom, and to make a difference in their lives along with having a few difficult obstacles along the way. Trigger warning: Lot of swearing and violence. I do not own the characters from the movie or the pictures being used, they belong to their rightful owners. DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN OC STORY! After Eddie Brock had become the villain Venom, he knew society hated him because he was constantly after Spider-Man. Because who would side with a villain? Your mother and father were murdered by the villain Carnage, another person who was overrun by a symbiote just like Venom. On his way home, Eddie walks past where you have been hiding out for the past several months after the death of your parents. He sees how you're struggling with trying to live on your own, which makes him sympathize with you since he had a rough time in his life. He takes you back to his apartment where he helps you recover and coupe with the loss of your parents.
