Although Aureous Empire is no stranger to abnormalities like Scripts-the power to manipulate elements, and Deviants-the man-devouring creatures of the Stygean Realm, Cairo Winterwick's strangeness is one of a kind.
With the weakening of the empire's Light and the growing threats from the Stygean Realm, the forever darkened world, Cairo will have to find his stand between the two worlds, and make a choice that will decide the outcome of countless lives and the balance between Light and Darkness.
