In this story, Lucy, an 16 year old girl in the year of 1985, meets Def Leppard's Joe Elliot backstage of a concert, and falls in love. Now, it's the summer of '85, and Lucy must tell Joe she has to leave him in a few days to return to her hometown. Will he be sad, or take her away with him forever?

She decides she at least wants to be single for 2 years, enjoy the wonderful city of San Francisco with her roommates that happen to be her 3 best friends and 1 happens to be her sister.What will happen when at her birthday party she meets Melanie one of her sisters co workers that was invited to the party, and can't help but think she is the most beautiful person that she has ever met. Dose Melanie even like girls? Will Jackie stay single for 2 years? Will she even last a month for that matter? Well I guess you would have to read to find out. P.S this is the the first story that I have ever written so please don't be too harsh
