Marian Roberts is known for two things- running track and running her mouth.

Confident and loud, she walks the halls of her school with an arrogant smirk. She wears her heart on her sleeve, never failing to tell the world what she thinks.

That is, unless it's a secret.

She knows secrets all too well after the death of her mother, a journalist killed while reporting on a scene. Scared of how her talent with a pen would affect her dad, she continued writing in secret.

So when a certain girl asks her to keep a secret with the same lips that had just kissed her breathless, she agrees without hesitation.

Too bad that sometimes running headfirst into things without thinking does nothing but get you hurt.
