"How is that even possible?' I stood up, brushing invisible dust off my ripped jeans and started walking. I was greeted with another white envelope, which in the same handwriting as the first. "There is no end or beginning to this place. Food and water are not a need, but you will still feel the hunger and thirst, along with exhaustion." I let the crisp paper fall from my fingertips, then numbly fell into a crouch. "What the actual hell is happening?" I said, rubbing my temples. "What did I do?" I asked myself, the loneliness and anxiety consuming me."

"I've been trying to hide my depression these past few days, but it seems all too obvious to everyone. I have only made a few "minor" changes. Its been chilly so I went shopping, and when I came back, I noticed that every piece of clothing was black or a dark grey. I also had a longing to get a tattoo. My hand slaps against my mouth as I try to shut myself up. Don't make too much noise...or he'll hear you. A vehicle's door opens then slams shut. I don't hear footsteps...but as the minutes go by I begin to hear them; the footsteps get louder and louder and louder, matching the sound of my thundering heart. That's when I see his shadow cast over the ditch...over the place where I tried to hide. "Well," he says with a smile in his voice. "I wonder where he could've gone...the footprints stop here...so I wonder if he just...disappeared?" My body begins to tremble. I can feel it now. The pain. I can feel the pain already. He jumps down into the ditch...he stands directly in front of me, with his back facing me. My hand presses harder against my mouth as I try to suppress my whimper, but it's way too late now. But his body tenses up when he hears it. He laughs bitterly as he turns around slowly, and his eyes cut through my camouflage easily. "There you are."Complete

Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? If you want I can put my number in and then you'll always be able to tell someone if you're having a pissy day." Surprisingly enough, the boy agreed. . They would both be around twenty.Complete
