The color of his eyes faded into the dark night, remaining invisible to the human soul. He stood boldly, watching the living city from on top of the building, the breeze of the wind brushing off of his bare, veiny forearms.

He was far from the man that he was not so long ago.

A crack was heard within the rough whispers of the dripping rain, making his ears perk up as he looked to the side lazily, already knowing who it was.

"It's time," Cass said, raising her head up to look at him as he stood on the rooftop, before noticing how he glanced down at the city one last time. "You ready?"

He took a deep, relaxing breath, "I hope so."
----------------
Luke Ryder, a football player in Harvard Crimson's football team stumbles upon a series of eye-opening events that makes him discover more and more of who he is. He finds out that he lives a borrowed life, only until the time is right for him to know his true self.
His adventure is accompanied by a runaway Cassidy Jensen, who ran away from the life she grew up in, in hopes of finding a new, better one to continue the rest of her life into.
Fate played its games upon the pair of them, tangling the webs to the point of no return, leaving it for each of them to untangle individually.

Your deepest fears, your darkest secrets... everything." So-jung's fear intensified. "This isn't funny. Are you some sort of stalker?" The Mysterious Figure's mocking tone penetrated the room. "Maybe you are a monster, but so am I and so is Dean. Maybe every human or every living being is a monster. But who ever said that monsters can't save the world from a bunch of Biblical douchebags? We may be monsters but the three of us? The three of us will save the world, Sam, and we'll do it knowing we're heroes no matter how Heaven, Hell, or Humanity looks at us. Just because you may be a monster does not mean that you are forced to be evil as we are depicted. I don't believe that we have a destiny and even if we do, I don't believe we have to follow it." ~°~ The Apocalypse is coming and the Universe's greatest weapon is a young, broken, Athiest living in a crap ass apartment in Knoxville, Tennessee studying to be a therapist. 54 parts Complete Mature
"I may not remember much, but I do know that I had the best time with you last night." Charlie drops his hand from his mouth and lifts his head to stare into my eyes, pushing his hair back from his face at the same time. "And I know this is awkward now, because I'm pretty sure we were both naked together in bed last night..." I choke on air, trying to dispel the imaginary object from my throat. Charlie reaches out and lightly grasps my hand; my eyes slide from our interlocked fingers to his shining pupils. "...but I still wouldn't change a single thing about it. So, I really do look forward to hearing from you later, Kaiydeen." It's like I've been taken hostage by his electric stare. I don't want to look away. I never want to look away. The busy noises of the street and the honking of the traffic fade as I lose focus, nothing strong enough to force my attention away from this boy. Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. But when the one person she's always wanted admits he wants her, too, she's forced to make a choice. Should she go for the boy she just met or the boy she's always known? There is some use of mature language in this story, so if your eyes are innocent and you want them to stay that way this might not be the story for you. Credit to @slueths for the incredible cover!!
