Lincoln, a recent graduate of the Orbital Space Command Academy, volunteers for a high-stakes mission on which the future of his orbital society, as well as his future career, depends. 

Failure is not an option.

After his mission is compromised and he barely makes it back alive, he finds himself on the run with the woman that not only stole his heart but also derailed his mission. As they race across a forbidden, dystopian landscape in search of answers, Lincoln faces the disturbing reality that his life is based on a lie and that the world as he knows it is doomed. The only way he can ensure the survival of the human race is by ensuring the survival of the woman who betrayed him and betraying the society that shaped him. Will he save them both or sacrifice the survival of one for the other?

When Evita starts asking questions Evelyn Sheer, the head of the city's Department of Energy, takes her captive and places her in a secret, underground research facility. Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Evita isn't ready to leave.

Hayden, a fresh high school graduate with an itch for photography, something that wasn't mutually accepted by his mother. She always compared him to his military-serving older brother, Jack, who had set the standards of what was to be expected. In a last resort attempt, Hayden has to make the most significant choice of his life and does what he always threatened to do as a kid. Run away. With the help of a misfit-like individual, Hayden goes on an adventure of a lifetime. While unaware that his past is catching up to him. He'd inevitably have to decide how he wanted to live out the rest of his days, either as an office prisoner or a runaway.
