Thousands of years ago, magic ceased to exist in the land of Daia for no apparent reason. As a result, Daia was split into three fractions: the werewolves, the vampires and the elves. Of course, humans, as the weaker species could not thrive on their own, and so had to make a decision to which race to belong. And so peace was achieved within the fraction, by mutual exchange.

Although the fractions were not at war with one another, there was still discontent, and generally they did not mix with one another... with the exception of the central city that was located in the centre of Daia, connecting all of the fractions together - the Capital. The core of the Capital was the Miven Academy, where all the races trained to become professionals within their desired or designated class: berserkers, vanguards, rangers, priests or assassins. Now then...

Niflheim - an 18-year old young man, living on the outskirts of the land of Daia, decided to leave his village behind to venture on a journey to seek the truth behind the world and his role in it. He is one of the few humans that has gathered the courage to try and get accepted into the Miven Academy, where no human has ever been admitted before. Will he succeed? What awaits him on his journey? And what secrets is he hiding?

Guardians of the Light (Book 1: Rebirth) by Kat_Penney
19 parts Complete
Many centuries ago, an unspoken darkness swept across the land taking all that was light and pure in the world with it. Creatures of this darkness roamed free to spread the darkness wherever they went consuming any trace of light remaining. In order to stop The Darkness from controlling the world, a group of priests took the remaining pieces of light and placed them within the body of two chosen children. They became known as the Children of the Light. Their sacrifice was not in vain, leaving behind spoken words for the next generation of children born with the pure light energy within them. Over time an organisation built on these words was formed called The Guardians, who were tasked to seek out the next chosen children and protect them from The Darkness should it rise again. Centuries have come and gone as the battle between the light and the darkness still rages on, unaware of the human race that creatures live among them and that a battle between them and the guardians has gone on for many years. Present day we find ourselves in a small city named New Haeven that has become the centre of the secret world of light and dark. The current story follows a Guardian by the name of Ronin. Everything was going according to plan-until my life crumbled. Fresh out of university, I was ready to chase my dreams, fulfill my parents' hopes, and carve out my destiny. But fate had different plans. "Creation of the World"-a game of limitless possibilities, offering its user the power to control realms, to create and destroy without limits. Cassian watched helplessly as the Earth merged with this world of his own design. Stripped of control, he awoke in a body not his own. Cassian StarHold-the older brother of the world's greatest hero. -- I lived as a puppet, a slave bound to an unyielding fate, sacrificing everything for mere scraps. Yet, my tormentors weren't content with simply binding me. They brought war to my doorstep, erasing everything I had painstakingly built. Now, I stand amidst thousands of their finest, listening to the man who destroyed my world. He looms high above, addressing the crowd from atop majestic marble columns, his silver hair blending seamlessly with the sky. "People are not equal!" His voice, dripping with arrogance, slices through the air. "We are the peak of evolution! Nothing surpasses us! We've ascended, leaving mountains of inferior blood in our wake. And now, you shall inherit this legacy!" He pauses, eyes cold and prideful, scanning the masses below. "This power must be earned, not handed down by birth. Wealth, power, status-they demand a mountain of sacrifices for even a glimpse." With arms outstretched, madness flickers in his eyes, mirrored by the thousands who echo his zeal. "You cannot fathom the blood shed to place you here. But you will learn. And I swear on my pride... Only those worthy will survive! Soon, I will show you why we are called dragons!" What these so-called dragons don't understand is that the puppet is about to break free. He's wrong-none of them will survive.

Ages ago a scientist by the name of Benjamin Wolves conducted an experiment and perchance made the Supernatural. By creating a world with no laws and no limits there had to be something wrong one day. In the year of 2004 the first ever Deadwolf was created, a wolf who could escape death and has a cancer-like poison in its veins. Benjamin didn't think much of it, but now here we are in the 31 first century and alternate dimensions exist, all kinds of Werewolves and the world is collapsing. What Benjamin could have never predicted was the birth of another mutation wolf: Rea Wolves. Daughter of the first ever Deadwolf and something far advanced than a Deadwolf. She has been set on Earth by her mother to defeat her old enemy Benjamin. .... "Did you free Falk from Hell", she immediately asked Benjamin when she stormed into his office. He looked confused at Rea but she didn't trust him. He was and still is a master manipulator. He could hide his real thoughts and emotions from a Deadwolf. "Rea Wolves", he said standing up from his chair making a little bow for her. "Answer my question", she said frustrated. "You differ a lot in the looks from your mother but you clearly have gotten her character", he said with a grin on his face. Rea was about to get violent but then thought to herself that I'd be smarter if she stayed calm and tried to read his emotions and search through his thoughts to a gateway to Benjamin's memories. "I'm technically your grandfather. Aren't you glad that you have some family left", he asked her and she looked with a raised eyebrow at him which made him chuckle. It reminded him of her real mother Deadlive. "What a nice grandfather I have! You've been killing the family Wolves for centuries now, should I be grateful for that", she said. "Now answer my question: Have you freed Falk from Hell?!" ... What if the villain was actually the hero? * Can contain curse words, suicide thoughts * This book is entirely made up by me
