They go in a magical place in the sky known as the Sky Tree, a tree that's so massive and has been there for thousands of years, an entire civilization of intelligent birds and tree-dwelling creatures live their lives up there! Not much is known about the Sky Tree's origins, though. Some of the animals befriended up there are Lieutenant Anto, a kestrel who defends the creatures of the Sky Tree and two bat twins known as Dalos and Kraelos who are very skilled at building. Daisy and Maxwell might feel safe thousands of feet in the clouds with their new friends they befriend at the Sky Tree, but there's danger that lurks down from the very ground people live on... A highly classified government project that could endanger the lives of the Sky Tree civilians and the two children!

The subsequent breaking of a rule leads to a incident and horrible cover-up, starting a life-long habit of covering up mistakes. It ended with a duck. As an adult, Sam transitions from hiding his mistakes to hiding himself. He avoids the public and his reflection. He imagines his pet bunny continues to live with him but could it be a dead duck?
