I guess I didn't.
My name is Jordyn Marikee, I am eighteen years of age, born and raised on Xypher, a fully fledged nerd, and I am about to fight for my life to represent my home, Pillar 5. I won't lie, I don't belong here. I don't even know how to fight. But as I said, we didn't have choice... so here I am... part of an elite fighting team training how to fight... to kill...
They say it's just sport.
The battle will go down on the man-made planet named The Hex. I'll be fighting the other representative teams of Xypher, and if I win... well let's not get ahead of ourselves... if I SURVIVE... I have to fight again... and again... and again.
