Fujikawa Nozomi always held the dream of being a hero despite always being told that she would never make it. It's not as though she was quirkless or weak. No, she was told from a very young age that becoming a hero would be impossible for her. Why? Because she held an incurable disease. Doctors weren't sure what to make of it, but they could only assume that it was a side effect of her quirk. They figured she probably wouldn't even make it to twenty years old before she died. When told this, fire was only added to the fuel as she boldly stated to her worried parents that she would become a hero no matter what.
