In a world where faeries grant your wishes when you wish upon a shooting start, Kaea Reeves has just made a very dangerous one.
She didn't really expect the wish to be granted, but the Fair Folk happen to be more bloodthirsty than Kaea ever anticipated. With a faerie with murky intentions by her side and a world of supernatural creatures to navigate, Kaea starts to realize that things aren't as simple as they appear on the surface, and the world of humans isn't as exclusive to them as they thought.
With little time left in her life, Kaea decides to use her remaining wishes in an attempt to right some wrongs around her in a last attempt to let her life mean something. But the line between good and evil doesn't exist for the fae, and Kaea has some tough choices to make, especially when her fate seems irrevocably tangled with the mysterious faerie by her side...

Charlotte sat there unmoving, tears falling down her cheeks. She could not do anything as she watched her sisters casket go down into the ground. She did not look to her older brothers for comfort, she did not look to her parents. She just sat there and sadly watched her sister and bestfriend, her twin, as she got burried in the ground. Her heart felt like there was an empty void in it, a missing-or rather-a dead piece. The sky opened up ontop of them, though non of them cared, they welcomed the rain and what it brought. For Charlotte, it meant new life. A life without her twin. Charlotte's never done anything without her sister before, but now she's going to have to. ~~ Charlotte grew up with her twin being her best friend, the one who helped her through the toughest times in her life. They had a connection that astounded people.The pain of losing someone so close, of someone who was literally like your other half, is one that no one should have to experience. But Charlotte did. Now, after her twin's death, Charlotte will not only have to live life without her twin, but learn to get close to people again. With struggles of self worth and depression, Charlotte has a hard time accepting her life as it now is. She even gains an unlikely friend but is hesitant to even let him in her life. It's a relationship where we need each other more than we think about really and we take them all for granted like we do each other. One seed can sow doubt or it can sow hope. Wonder what would happen to the world if such a seed existed inside a person and it finally bloomed? Synopsis: Briar was made a slave and an orphan on the same day she was born. She serves at the castle she was born in, the court of winter. Everyone can command her to do tasks and she has no freedom to leave. Those at the top of this world are the ruling Fae, next are ruling humans, next Fae, free humans, protected slaves and then the banished ones. At least as a slave she has a chance at earning her freedom from a ruling Fae to pardon her. She is also something more which is discovered as she grows up but she must keep it hidden to protect herself. As she masters her skills, she, along with her friends, are given the opportunity to leave and earn her freedom. It's the first step in finding herself and her answers and perhaps it could change her life in ways she couldn't imagine when she was taking everyone's orders in the kitchen. But first she must rescue a prince from a dungeon... (Small warning) Contains suggestions of non consensual sexual relationships of a business kind but no graphic detail.
