"So.." he began, shifting to look at her now instead. "Why'd you leave?" There it was, the question she had dreaded from the start. Lucy closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath. Her hand shifted just a little, pulling away from his warm one. 'Because..sometimes leaving is the only way to avoid hurting..and getting hurt.' "That, Natsu.." Lucy breathed, turning over to look at him too. 'And because I never wanted to hurt you.' "Is a story for another time." I own nothing :) Chapters: 25/25 ________________________________________ Cover by my amazing friend Negin! Do not steal!❤ This is my own idea. The Divine Empress
It was her dream to be able to join Fairy Tail, the strongest guild in all of Fiore. But now, was she really all that joyful that she joined that guild? She was now 16 and ever since the Grand Magic Games, the guild started ignoring her. Then, one day, they had snapped. They yelled at her, screamed at her, tormented her, and tore her into pieces. At that moment, she realized it. She regretted thinking that she would have another chance at having a family. She regretted joining the guild. She regretted ever trusting and relying on them. Lucy Heartfilia, little did they know, was the person they least wanted to make an enemy of. Disclaimer: This is just a fanfiction of Fairy Tail. I do not own Fairy Tail, Hiro Mashima does. :DAbgeschlossen
Two Lost Souls
Natsu Dragneel is 17 years old, he is in his final year at Fairy Tail High. Natsu is closed off, detached, rude and generally doesn't like being around people. He refuses to let anyone else in except those he couldn't shut out. There's a new transfer student and he just can't seem to get rid of her and he's not sure if he's annoyed or happy with her presence. Lucy moves to Magnolia transferring to Fairy Tail High hoping to get a fresh start after the last few rough years. She makes some fast friends who she seems to treat like family, she even reunites with a family member she hadn't seen in years. However she also bumps into the coldest man she's every met and something about him just seems off and maybe nostalgic. It's confusing, along with frustrating and it seemed like whatever she was running from was trying to catch up to her. The two teens both feel so lost, like they just don't know what to do anymore. Natsu feels broken and unworthy of anything, he doesn't even know why he's still alive somedays. Lucy is terrified and stressed keeping so many secrets sometimes she doesn't even know what's real anymore knowing that pretending to be happy doesn't make her so. The two can't seem to escape each other and they start to think maybe they aren't supposed to, maybe they were meant to guide each other. Find peace together no longer being two lost souls.

Beholden | NaLu |
Lucy's breath hitched. "You saved mine, so I'll have to save yours. That's just how it works. So, naturally, I can't leave until that happens. I'm beholden to you." No way. This is so not true. It can't be! It's not supposed to be! A dragon prince beholden to a mere human? This never ends well. He gave her a sheepish smile, and Lucy couldn't help but wonder that he might actually be enjoying himself, despite what he might say. "..so if I put it in other words.." he began. "You're kinda stuck with me.." All rights for the characters and concept of Fairy Tail belong to Hiro Mashima. Story inspired from a prompt. The plot development is mine :). The Things We Have To Get Back (Nalu Fanfiction)
Natsu grapples with consequences of his mistakes, he does his best to get back what he once lost. Lucy denies her feelings to protect herself from getting hurt again. How long can she hold out when the fire dragon slayer continues to shower her in affection? Even when their children and the entire guild wants them together? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Nashi and Luke went to sit at a table oblivious to the eyes of their father watching them. He had been watching them since they announced that they were Lucy's children. He just couldn't look away from them. His girlfriend had grown upset and fled from the guild hall, so it was just him. He continued to watch them, wondering what kind of life they had. If Lucy had told them about him." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I don't own the characters just this storyline.Abgeschlossen
