Arthur has known Maaya for a while now. He considers her his best friend who only has his best interests at heart.

" You only truly miss someone when they are gone. And sometimes, it's hard to let go. But you have to let him go..." It is hard when your loved one is gone. But for Riley, it was something different. In a sick sort of way, she loved it-reminiscing about Leo, literally drowning in the memories of him. And it isn't long till Riley does drown herself among those gray memories, shutting and shunning the world forever, in a place too far to reach. She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. Will a curious stranger's words save her, or will Riley try to save herself? *If you read the summary, and decided that it is some sort of typical clichè , I'd like to tell you that this is NOT a cliche 'damsel-in-distress-saved-by-a-knight-in-shining-armour' story at all. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too. But yes, there will be few moments of cliche.* •Warning• : Things about suicide, self-harm, depression; contains kissing and cuss words-so read at your own risk And also, even though it's edited, it still can have few mistakes. It's a sweet and deep romance about two characters negotiating their feelings for each other while life is doing everything to tear them apart. The characters have such mature conversations and, there's no reliance on the miscommunication trope at all. I'm *obsessed.* If you enjoy intriguing fantasy novels with deep and thoughtful themes, check out 'The Gifts of Mortality' by @eleanorkennedy14 . It explores the concept of mortality and how it gives life meaning through the eyes of both gods and humans. The story follows Samil, the god of the Festivals and the Arts, who is shocked by the apathy of his fellow gods when a human terrorist group gains control over the Goddess of Death. Despite finding no support among his kind, he's determined to help the humans, which sets him down an interesting course. There are lots of great twists in this novel, and I also loved seeing how queerness was worked in throughout both the immortal and mortal realms. Samil is a sweet and refreshing character to root for who is determined to see the good in the world.Complete

DISCLAIMER: In almost ALL chapters- Self Harm, suicidal thoughts, mental illness, smut...If any of this bothers you, be careful reading it please. Alex, a lonely 17 year old with a heart problem and a lot of anxiety is hated by nearly everyone in his school. It was stupid, he knew that, but his anxiety and depression told him otherwise. Told him that he deserved to be hated, truly. He still longed for a friend though. He'd heard a rumor about some stupid party that any other time, he wouldn't be interested in.
