After Summer disappears from a botched mission, Ruby grew up with a man who she could no longer consider a father. Qrow, Yang, and even Raven went as far as to treat her as nothing more than a weapon for the inevitable future where her silver eye powers are needed, but what they didn't expect was her running away. Upon escaping she wanders onto a beach where a boy-a pirate-comes to her aid and brings her on board where her dreams of seeing a pirate start to unravel before her as she starts to look across the planet from Remnant to the Caribbean in search for her mother, and answers.
