"You have a thousand friends. Why her?" "Because she's my best friend!" Lisa turned to him, her voice cracking with emotion. "Like you have one. That grumpy idiot you defend with your life." Taehyung's eyes narrowed. "Lisa!" he warned, sharply. Some things were off-limits. Especially his best friend, Jungkook. They'd been inseparable since day one of college, a duo everyone knew. Now, years later, that 'grumpy idiot' happened to be the CEO of a multinational company and the most accomplished graduate from their batch. Taehyung admired him deeply and couldn't tolerate even a playful jab thrown his way. Lisa huffed, sinking into the seat, arms crossed.
