Dean, Roman, and Seth are newly-ranked werewolves, allowed to join the hierarchy of the East-land Werewolf Tribe and abandoning their statuses as pups. They are able to join the hunting party for their first hunt, but things go horribly wrong. A stampede carries off the brothers and they're left to fend for themselves in the unknown wilderness. As they try to make their way home, they encounter the infamous Haka-lomi Pack, who are known for their violent and sometimes cannibalistic tendencies. Befriending a female rogue, the brothers try to stop the Haka-lomi Pack's true plans and find their way home.
