Humans have started to colonize their world. Freedoms are being slowly ripped away as the economy and government collapse in humanity's barbaric wake. Unwilling teenage spies are recruited wage war on powerful families from the inside, destroying the lives of close friends from within for the sake of human greed. Humans aren't satisfied with one planet, so why would they pass up the opportunity to take over another universe?

The four eldest of the barely functional Frostbite Clan live with the knowledge that their once-promising futures are doomed, the ongoing war of the worlds slowly creeping towards their hometown. They're only teenagers, but they must cope with their entire society falling apart around them while still managing their personal lives as best they can (which isn't well).
