Disclaimer: I do not support JK Rowling in any way. Though I will not delete this work nor any other Harry Potter related work, I do not think I can separate the author from the books. Harry Potter was a safe haven for many minority and LGBTQIA+ communities, the fact that JK Rowling has so grievously violated the trust of these communities is disgusting and so far beyond vile. As I've gotten older I've begun recognizing the racist, sexist, homophobic, antisemitic, and transphobic themes that permeate the Harry Potter series. That said, I still adore Harry Potter and I do not begrudge anyone who will continue to enjoy the franchise and all fan-creations associated with it.

Among them is the unwritten tale of Rosemary Abbott - Hero of Hogwarts - a name that never made it to Harry Potter's history books. One might wonder why. This historian may have found the answers in a little known romance novel, published over a century ago. Pure Bloods. If there is one thing you need to know about Pure Blood families is that they treat their family goal in life is to maintain the "pureness" of their blood. Most of these Pure Blood families esentially ruled the Wizarding World whether it be through wealth, politics, or a combination of the two. Valorie Darth was a part of a pure blood family that didn't quite fit either of those categories. They were not wealthy and not well versed in politics, but they were damned if they didn't try to be. Perfection is what they drilled into her from a young age and perfection is what she strives for. At least that's what she pretends to do. She has always been envious of muggle-borns and half-bloods, able to live their own lives and lead their own paths, even fall in love of their own volition. When her parents heard that the most prestigious Pure Blood family, descendents of Salazar Slytherin himself, were looking for a Pure Blood wife for their youngest son, Ominis, they dove at the opportunity. It seems the young Gaunt was not as perfect as the rest of his family, so they were just desperate to push him aside into any Pure Blood match. Valorie had managed to stand on her own for a long time, accumulating an impressive career within her small countryside school of witchcraft and wizardary, so the Gaunts appeared to accept her parents' proposal with just one requirement: graduate from Hogwarts.
