Cross has depression by Nightmare,the one he has loved for a long time and his gang who are his so called friends has been torturing them for as long as he had remembered,he was pushed to his limits to leave and try to commit suicide but Nightmare immediately and try to save him.

He had been serving 'the one who takes' for quite some years. Most of the creatures in the batches of new recruits either died or betrayed their king. But Cross would never do that. The god had given him a home, friends, a new purpose, a second chance at life to prove his worth. Going for a mythological theme, almost, with my own spin on it. kinda inspired. This Crossmare story. It's not uncommon for God to play, befriend or even toy with other mortals. But rare it is for a God to ever do more than just that. for some Gods, falling inlove and marrying a mortal was unheard of, very uncommon, a mortal and a God may never bare children or fall inlove as some say it is forbidden. Nightmare finds himself in this predicament, a mortal guard catching his eye, he couldn't help but grow fond of this mortal. Cross never thought he'd ever catch the eye of a God, especially one like Nightmare, scared but stubborn, Cross tried to balance his life.
