A Miraculous Ladybug AU where Marinette/Ladybug and Adrien/Chat Noir are neither friends nor partners.
Marinette Dupain-cheng is just a normal girl, except, she has a secret. Every day she is protecting Paris from supervillain Hawk Moth, who is always sending out his akumatized minions to get her and her partner's Miraculouses. Suddenly, Hawk Moth introduces a new competitor to the arena: Chat Noir. Will Ladybug and her partner, [Viceroy], be able to defeat Hawk Moth and Chat Noir? Or will something else stop Ladybug from doing her job?

Marinette has been missing for a week and no one knows where she could have gone. Ladybug went on a mission and she's left Chat Noir in charge while she was gone. Chat Noir has found Hawk Moth but Ladybug is not back yet. Knowing she trusted him, he recruited some of his superhero friends to help him take Hawk Moth down. The heroes knew victory was close and so did Hawk Moth. Hawk Moth decided to use the only ace up his sleeve, the only thing he knew would make the heroes falter. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng is... dead." While defeating Hawk Moth, Chat Noir gets thrown through a portal and is never seen again by the people of Paris. Mourning the loss of her partner, Ladybug disappears from the public eye and instead becomes Lady Noire in secret. Three years later, Lady Noire's life is suddenly turned upside down when she meets three strange boys, all who have powers without having a miraculous. After working together, they find out that the three boys somehow got teleported into an alternate universe.
