'What would we do without the grass we walk on, the ocean we swim in or even the trees that we climb on as a kid. This is our one and only earth this story may just explain the tragedy that happened between a girl and her bestfriend but what would you do if you lost your bestfriend or anything in your life, you'd be upset, right. Well so is Laney but she did it she helped ruin the earth that killed starlight but the thing is we all participated'

  This is my first story that I have entered into a contest for Wattpad and I hope you enjoy. All of us that have participated in this contest were asked to right a short story of 500 words or less about our enviroment and how it is becoming lost then publish it using the hashtag of #PlanetorPlastic. This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I mean I might be able to win a nice prize and get some more publicity for my music, which was more important to me then some cash prize but it would be nice.
