Benjamin Mills turns thirteen with the arrival of the Fall Equinox, but he doesn't want to grow up and this means he's one year closer to adulthood. At home, he feels alone and abandoned by the adults that were supposed to be there for him.  

When the clock strikes midnight, a strange door appears in his basement. Before he could decide whether to open it or leave it alone, it instantly transports him to the alien planet of Kraälst Ta'ark. The aliens that inhabit the planet kill and eat every creature that crosses a door. This makes Benjamin quickly realize that his worries were trivial when compared to being trapped on a world where he's considered food.

Only another prisoner can help him escape, but should he really trust her? Can he learn to be courageous enough to face all the dangers and allow the extraterrestrial stranger to help him?

Our main character, Romero, decided that a change of scenery would be a nice decision for himself after a traumatizing event in his life. So, he decided to go and live in a nice, quiet town. It is said to be amazing. The townsfolk are supposedly nice. The scenery is amazing. There does seem to be a little bit of noise at night, but that is normal. Right? I mean, who would not love to live next to the woods in a town that has a "Wolf Problem," whatever that means, AM I RIGHT??? No but seriously, he is a bit concerned for his well-being, and along with trying to keep his past and his job a secret from the town, he is trying to figure out how to process some new... information... he gets about the world he lives in. This boy has an imaginary friend which he nicknamed Morningstar. He is very picky with his choice of friends, it is not easy finding someone who can match his complex mind. One could say it is because he sees the best and the worst in people. The storyline took a different route after he got abducted by a dreaded terrorist sect during his NYSC program in Borno State, Nigeria (a program for Nigerian citizens, after they graduate from an higher institution). A lot began to unfold afterwards, he soon discovered that he is just the tip of the iceberg in an entire world filled with principal actors. Time soon made the readers understand that there are a lot of higher forces at play in this novel; humans with godlike technologies and powers out of this world. Luke is annoyed. Why did he have to be stuck like this? He's some 8 or 9 years old now and being forced to stick around annoying people who will end up dead like everyone else. or Luke wakes up as a kid and knows he once was an adult but does not remember anything really about that life. He finds this new kid's life taking over more and more of his mind, and gets stuck as a prisoner for a group of survivors held up in a prison, after 'happily' surviving on his own for the last 6 months. I'm not the best writer, just doing this for fun, (Update) now I am done, I do have ideas for a sequel, but I want to do some other things for now, so don't expect it anytime soon.
