6 years. 6 years Negan had spent in that lonely jail cell, unable to watch what was going on in the world. Alexandria had been rebuilt and his jail was now there. The usual suspects (Rick, Daryl, Carol, Michonne, Ezekiel) were now working together to lead up the settlements. Rick and Michonne kept Negan fed, clothed and gave him other basic necessities but that was it.
What he didn't know was that they wanted their prison system to actually work and people to get better. They just didn't know that the woman they choose to do it would inform them that keeping Negan in solitary confinement would give them bigger issues not too far from now. She tries to rehabilitate him with a bit of success but with that, comes problems and her having to bring back a part of her life she thought was over.
