Tyler's family is definitely not something you would consider to be normal: Constant arguing, fighting, sometimes abuse. Tyler doesn't want to stay here anymore. He had one escape, and that was music, and his guitar. Nothing can get between him and music.
One day, he got sick of it all. It finally got to the point where he believed the only way out is to leave. He grabbed his guitar, opened his window, and he was gone, but no one would notice. No one ever noticed.
By the pond, he took his guitar out, he sang: Took all his frustrations out through his music, through the words, through everything.
A voice unfamiliar to Tyler spoke, "You have a beautiful voice."

It's like breathing in as much air as you possibly can, and not wanting to exhale it all. Holding it in, how can a heavy soul be in that much control over itself? Tyler Joseph thought about that a lot, especially in his writing. How can he be in control of a soul so dirty? So broken. So heartless. All he wanted was to be known but by who? This is a story written as if Jenna and Tyler wrote it. As if it was true events that accured in their lives. Disclaimer: it mentions self harm, and sexual harassment. If you're triggered by either of those I suggest you don't read.
