He's been off since theater. Not saying much. "Seb, what's wrong?" I ask gently. "There's something I think I need to tell you," he answers meekly. I stop scrubbing the rose case with Windex and go to the edge of the stage. We sit together, our feet dangling off the edge. "I-I need to tell you about a lot of things," he starts. Living alone, he turns to his passion for art as a way to let his emotions out, but sometimes that proves to not be enough. Sam Larson is a sixteen-year-old closeted gay guy who, after receiving the news of his mother's death, winds up making Jace's life hell as a way of venting his grief. He lives with his twin brother, who is essentially his polar opposite. Sam secretly hates all of his "friends" except for one. Kizuato Larson is Sam's twin brother. Being kind of a recluse, he's a quiet person who is very distant and removed from his sibling. Ever since the twins' dad left when they were seven, Kizuato has been more reserved and less willing to trust people. He hates people who bully others for things that can't be changed- such as sexual orientation or race- especially after having experienced it himself for being asexual/aromantic. Noah moved to a new town just a few weeks before school starts back up again. He meets a few people on his bus and they end up best friends. One of them tells them about a party that they got invited to. They invite Noah and their other friend along. Noah gets sort of lost but finds his way to a corner. He hangs out there for a while until he feels someone bump into him. He's the one who says sorry and the other questions It. The question soon gets taken back. Someone calls the others name "Logan" Noah knew the boy was hot and he seemed nice, but he never got to ask him Anything. He snaps out of his thoughts when on of his friends show up. Noah asks them if they know anything about Logan and his friend responses with no but he's friends with someone who's friends with Logan. Soon the conversation turns into who can drink more. The next day Noah remembers that his friend said to leave notes in Logan's locker. And Noah does just that. After a while Logan needed to know who was leaving him the notes. He skipped class just to find out, but he got caught and sent to detention. Noah was also there for passing notes in class. Logan groaned an annoyance when he remembered Noah from the party. Then it hit him like a rock. The boy from the party was leaving the notes. The bell rang and before Logan could say anything Noah was gone.
