After being homeschooled by their mother for all of middle school, the youngest Yamada sibling, the only girl, joins her two older brothers at Akademi High School, a prestigious school for gifted students or wealthy families. She can only hope for a normal, or even somewhat normal school year.

As her first year at Akademi progresses, she comes face-to-face with lives many obstacles, friends coming and going, barely passing classes, and arguing with her mother, but then she meets nine boys, who help and befriend her, and then slowly but surely they fall for the most unlikely girl.
