[EDITED DESCRIPTION] Danny was taken by the GIW a year after he got his powers and was held captive, and experimented on for 2 years before he managed to escape and fled to Gotham. Now he has been free for a few weeks and has been living on the streets while hiding from the GIW and a certain teenage team that has been sent to find the "weapon" that the GIW lost. How will this pan out, will Danny become a friend or will he always be seen as a threat to society?
Sorry its my first story so its gonna suck and probably not make a lot of sense since I have no clue where I am going with this. Sorry if this story sucks and feedback is welcomed, swearing is not. If anyone somehow finds this ridiculous story thanks for reading.
Note: Nobody knows Danny's secret identity and how he learns and gains powers will differ from the shows timeline and plot. The young justice team is just the original team with robin, kid flash, aqualad, superboy, miss martian, and artemis Also I will not go off of a specific plot or reasoning from either show this plot will belong to me and if you try to make it fit somewhere into either series timeline(s) it won't make any sort of sense (partially because its been a while since I've watched them and a lot is based off vague memory and other fanfictions). Also disclaimer (I think that's the right word idk) I do not own Danny Phantom or Young Justice all rights go to the original creators I just own the plot.

So this is a Danny Phantom story. This is also a Danny Phantom crossover Justice League. Another thing, Danny is a child. Not a teenager. Danny has long since left Amity Park. Given his halfa nature, he's fairly not worried about most parts of Gotham and given he needs less sleep now, he likes to wander campus and Gotham itself like he's a natural Gothathes...at night like the half dead-half living man he was. During these wanderings, he finds pieces of bat tech from fights. He figures it's safer in his care(and because he's really curious about the local vigilantes) so...he takes it. It's usually just tiny things that the bats- probably -wouldn't even notice gone and he has things to fiddle with now. Unfortunately(for the bats), he finds Red Hood's destroyed helmet and takes it back to his dorm to fix, figuring it would allow him to return most of the items he snatched without a second thought. He doesn't realize it has an active tracker in it so the bats, when they activate it and discover it on the Gotham University campus, reasonably panic and flip on the camera...only to come face to face with adoption bait using bits of their missing tech to fix the helmet.
