B U R N

This is an updated version of my one-chapter story based on the songs "Burn" and "First Burn" from Eliza's perspective that helped to give me an A in my Higher English Exam!

For people who don't understand what is going on within this song: Alexander Hamilton has an affair with a stranger and published the letter that the woman wrote to him about their evening together, without telling his wife (Eliza) anything about it. Eliza had to find out AFTER he published the letter. So Eliza decides, in her crestfallen state, to burn the love letters she received from Alexander over the years in order to erase herself from his narrative.

I personally love this song and to create the narrative Eliza burned to ash was a very fun and yet challenging experience. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!
