It's the 25th annual Hunger Games, and the survival of her innocent District 2 family is all resting on the shoulders of young Kara Marion. It should be an honour for her to participate in the Games and fulfil her legacy, but when she stumbles upon a lethal secret, the Capitol is suddenly thrusted into a new light. Who will become her ally, and who will stab her in the back? Even with the odds wavering in her favour, will she be able to make it through the looming Quarter Quell? Giving up is not an option, and Kara knows she has to win, not only for her survival, but to save the lives of everyone she loves.
