My life isn't nearly as bad as other peoples. I mean, some people's parents hit them all the time. Dad only hits me when I try to save Issac. I've watched homeless people eat out of the trash and I have food to eat. But I still can't feel. Or haven't felt in years. I am numb to almost everything except my brother. And when he became a wolf I knew I'd have to be stronger. To work a lot harder to protect him. So I did the only thing possible.

I became a monster.
