Milly, a depressed teenage girl who a counters bullying everyday at school. Not even her parents like her, the only person who ever loved Milly was Eva. Sadly Eva had drowned a year ago. In the lake right by Milly's school. Milly now has to fend for herself in this cruel world. Along the way you will see how Milly turns into a mermaid and finds her happiness. She discovers confidence and new friends!
This story is dedicated to all the girls out there who are depressed, cut, starve, puke, or have attempted to commit suicide. I know what you are going through, and if you read along in this book, you may find the key to happiness and confidence like Milly does. Stay strong everyone, and just keep swimming!
