The offspring of lightning and death itself - the Night Fury. A legendary creature, of which only one specimen has ever been extensively studied.
However, this doesn't mean Toothless is the only one. You were nearly twenty years old when you first saw a dragon who looked like you. However, the strange, loud creature riding upon his back is what threw you off more than anything.
Normally being a creature of solitude and night dwelling tendencies, adjusting to life in Berk was quite the feat. However with the aide of a dragon you'd come to particularly enjoy the company of, it wasn't so bad.
Until a great power threatens to destroy the life you'd grown fond of, and steal away the only dragon anchoring you to the ground these days.
