The Beast
Who's hunting who exactly ? Not in anyone's wildest dreams, not even in mine I'd dream of this night to happen to me. Not many people think they will ever go up against a blood thirsty, horrifying non existing beast. Yet I do. I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Then there's me, Arya Jennings, a typical shy quiet person, not even close to be somewhat popular. I prefer to be alone, I always has. Until my world turned upside down. People are disappearing, not even a trace to be found. But being alone most of my life, things change. Befriending a group of men with guns, they could easily keep me safe. Right ?? My world is changing faster than a speed of light, encountering things I've only read in books, yet they're real as ever. These so called mysterious beasts, creatures, whatever they are... that hunts by sound, sight, and hearing. Will our band of misfits be able to kill them ? Or the opposite ? Warning: There is mostly strong language. Strong Violence. Bloody scenes.

Decades ago, the world came to a halt as humanity knew it. Wars spurred the worldwide deathrates to a new high, businesses closed, and much of the new technology stopped working altogether. As if life could not get much worse for the surviving humanity that was left, creatures of the night came forth from the shadows, ready to claim what was left of the world's society and kill those who opposed the new regimen. However, all of this was unknown to a young woman you lived with her small family in a quiet town, hidden from the chaos of the outside world. The young woman who lived in this town was called Delilah, and this is her story. Please note that this book is a slow-burn. Yes, there is romance. Yes, like my characters you may be left wanting more. Good stuff takes time, give this book a try. Additionally, I started writing this book while I was fresh out of High School, I am now a junior in college. While the writing was not necessarily bad, it has improved greatly with the more recent chapters. You would probably think that this world is a dream come true, but what you forget is that nightmares are dreams too. When the dust settles after all that is said and done, the only thing left is blood and ash, and then the only thing left to do is scream.
