Nana is a aspiring singer who has traveled to Beijing to pursue her dream in the music industry. Only after living in a shabby apartment for three years with only a single friend that lives next door to show for it, her future isn't looking too bright.
Kris Wu is the cold intimidating CEO of the biggest international music company knight Class. He somehow stays out of the spotlight while remaining the most influential person in the music industry. That company also happens to be the only company that Nana aspires to be in.
When a chance encounter at a night club brings the two into each others lives Nana leaves hoping to never see him again.
She gets a rude surprise when she catches a break and makes it past the first round of auditions and becomes a trainee at Knight Class Entertainment where she comes face to face with the CEO who acts like he doesn't know her.
Working under him, they find themselves becoming intertwined in each others lives as she moves her way up the ranks to debut her own song.
Can things continue to go the way Nana wants them to? Will she be able to achieve her dream even with the snobby CEO scrutinizing her every step? Or will the feelings she is having interfere with her dream and her ability to be around the alluring CEO?
