What happens when the 'Hero' and the 'Villain' are one in the same?

This is the birth of a God of Theatre, with the entire world as his stage, 'Mordred' plans for a global play to begin. The actors have all been set, the pieces are defined and there is the scent of blood in the air. Would the world resist him to the very last? Or will they succumb to his villainy and false heroism?

Yet, Mordred wasn't always like this. Indeed, until recently he had only been a shut-in with very little prospects for the future. His only talents was being good at a certain game. That is, until he had received a message that read: "Welcome to Aria". With the powers of his Game Character he was forced onto this surreal world of fantasy, and thus was born the greatest Devil known to all life, yet publicly he was known as the most benevolent Angel.

Everything was going according to plan-until my life crumbled. Fresh out of university, I was ready to chase my dreams, fulfill my parents' hopes, and carve out my destiny. But fate had different plans. "Creation of the World"-a game of limitless possibilities, offering its user the power to control realms, to create and destroy without limits. Cassian watched helplessly as the Earth merged with this world of his own design. Stripped of control, he awoke in a body not his own. Cassian StarHold-the older brother of the world's greatest hero. -- I lived as a puppet, a slave bound to an unyielding fate, sacrificing everything for mere scraps. Yet, my tormentors weren't content with simply binding me. They brought war to my doorstep, erasing everything I had painstakingly built. Now, I stand amidst thousands of their finest, listening to the man who destroyed my world. He looms high above, addressing the crowd from atop majestic marble columns, his silver hair blending seamlessly with the sky. "People are not equal!" His voice, dripping with arrogance, slices through the air. "We are the peak of evolution! Nothing surpasses us! We've ascended, leaving mountains of inferior blood in our wake. And now, you shall inherit this legacy!" He pauses, eyes cold and prideful, scanning the masses below. "This power must be earned, not handed down by birth. Wealth, power, status-they demand a mountain of sacrifices for even a glimpse." With arms outstretched, madness flickers in his eyes, mirrored by the thousands who echo his zeal. "You cannot fathom the blood shed to place you here. But you will learn. And I swear on my pride... Only those worthy will survive! Soon, I will show you why we are called dragons!" What these so-called dragons don't understand is that the puppet is about to break free. He's wrong-none of them will survive.

Through the darkness, the computer screen illuminated the pale skin of Adelae's face around the black mask. Scrolling through the submitted questions, she came across one that made her smile. "Dear Lady Shade," She read aloud to herself. "Why did you choose to be a villain instead of a hero?" She chuckled, shaking her head at the simple, loaded question, before selecting it and opening the page to write a reply. "Hello Blogger KittyStan41. I bet you're expecting the classic tragic backstory in response to this question." she typed. " Dead parents, treated like trash as a kid, and it all came to a choice between rising to defeat my inner demons or succumbing to them. Well, my real answer is possibly something you haven't considered about the world of Heroes and Villains. Answer this for me, what is the goal of a hero? To make the world a better place, perhaps? No, dear KittyStan41. The classic goals of the Hero might seem epic and noble, but in the end it all comes down to stopping the Villain. What kind of life is that, when your only goals derive from the actions of someone else? Your whole life is used up as a preventative measure. Now does that sound like a good way to live? "I chose to be a villain not because I enjoy hurting people, but because I have goals that I plan to achieve. Don't bother asking what they are. If I told you, everyone would know, and people (baby heroes) would get in the way. Then how would I achieve them? I aspire to more. Is there need for a better reason?"

Waking up in the world of Franxx and being forced into a game of 'Gods' with multiple penalties imposed on him was not a cup of tea for Ryo. With a loud explosion from a stupid experiment he was performing, Ryo finds himself floating in the void as suddenly a Bizarre Flamboyantly Homosexual Time Stopping Blonde Vampire pops up in front of him. With that, he was forcefully reincarnated into a different world. It was as if he was sent into a Game of so-called 'Gods' without any sort of information or backing. But... there was but one particular 'thing' that had made Ryo very 'special'. He tends to get off his way to achieve the 'win', no matter what he needs to sacrifice or get his hands into. Now with a system that can help him achieve his dreams, how surely can he keep his desire to win the games of so-called 'God' in control, even with multiple penalties that were imposed on him? How will Ryo win against literal 'Gods' who are almost omnipotent? How will he bend the rules of the game he's going to play against the 'Gods' themselves? Is there any chance for him to win at all? If he wins, will he get a 'Happy' Ending? Or will he stay merely as a pawn to the 'Gods' in their grand plans within the cosmos? Read to know more about his future adventure! First World: Darling in the FraXX. Second World: Akame Ga Kill! ========== 1. Hardcore system. Semi-Sentient. 2. Small Harem. (Or not?) 3. Neutral Evil MC. (Will do his best to gain the highest gains, but won't do pointless evil. Borderline evil.) 4. Very Long Chapters (Around 5k words each.) 5. Dark Plot ======== Note: Shared Multiverse with "Kono DIO Da" fanfic. Sequel to the fanfic. Note-2: Having some basic knowledge about the worlds that he goes in, would be best.
