All her life Aleera Williams had been happy to work at the Komodo National Park, surrounded by exotic animals, until the day she was abruptly transported to a whole other world. Faced with bird-people and men who claim to be the next stage of evolution of the Komodo Dragons she had been caring for her entire life, she has to wonder if it is all some kind of hallucination or a very elaborate prank.
But then why do the Komodo prince's eyes seem so familiar? And why can she not get them - or him - out of her head?
