His sister's name was Sunstone and his brother's name was Moondrop. Their adoptive mother's name was Moonbeam and their adoptive father's name was Sunbeam. Their real parents were unknown since they were babies, but legends say that their real mother was Gusty the Great, the legendary Unicorn who led a bunch of warriors to defeat the villainous Grogar! Legends also say that their real father was the evil Unicorn named Sombra, who got consumed by shadows and cursed the Crystal Empire! After Grogar's defeat, Gusty and Sombra thought that the only way to protect their children was to hide them away in a secret cave to protect them.
