I wake up with drizzles of sweat siting on the top of my forehead.
I groan and turn to my window, which grazes against the apple tree outside. The sun blinds my eyes as I start to sit up. I wipe my forehead reliving the wet, cool touch of the sweat. I yawn and run my slender fingers through my rough brown hair. I stared down at my yellow pyjama shorts sit on my mid thigh. Today’s the day. The day that my fate decides if I am Selfless, Brave, Intelligent, Truthful or Peaceful.
I get off my bed and stare in the mirror at my slim slender figure. I let my fringe fall down covering my left eye, which sometimes gave me an energy boost. Its not everyday you meet a person with one eye green and the other brown.

The first you should know is that this is a VERY short version of Divergent; and it's been called the "best parody on here" by several different users. Don't believe me? I shall prove it. ************************ In Trisha Pretor's dystopian Toronto, society is divided into two ranks, both dedicated to a particular virtue— the Clean, who value appearance and wealth, and are judged harshly; and the Unclean, who are more casual and have a lower expectation, and live in poverty. Once they've matured, and have black eyes, teens are required to enter a virtual reality to determine which rank they are better suited for. Trisha discovers that she is Detergent, having an equal aptitude for each rank, while most people can only endure one. The next day they choose which rank they will devote the rest of lives to. Trisha must decide whether she wants to stay dark, dreary world of the Unclean, (with her family, while denying her true self) or if she wants to embrace who she is at heart. Training is highly competitive, and causes stress for all of the Trainers. Trisha adopts a new name for herself,“Bee”. She tries to discover the truth of who her friends are, who she really is, and how she where a secret, forbidden romance with a sometimes amazing, sometimes infuriating boy fits into the life she's chosen for herself. She’s got a deep secret, and she’s heard that it may be her downfall. Bee discovers that tensions between parts of the city are increasing, and they threaten to unravel her society–not just one of the ranks. She finds that her closely guarded secret could either save her life, and that of those she cares about— or destroy her.

{BOOK ONE} There are five factions. Each had their own reasoning for thinking why the war had happened. Dauntless; cowardice and fear. They strive to be brave, fearless. Erudite; ignorance. They strive for intellect, to be smart and curious. Candor; deception. They strive to be honest. Amity; they blamed the war itself along with fighting. They strive to be kind, forgiving, peaceful. Abnegation; selfishness. So they strive to be selfless. Dauntless are our police. Erudite are our teachers. Candor is the law. Amity are the farmers. And Abnegation are our government. I would sit on the ground everyday, wearing my yellow dress with black sandals. Wasn't the best thing for me. Dresses made my shoulders to broad, especially the flowing ones. When I was home alone, or with my mother, I would wear I tight black shirt and white shorts. No one would really approve, mostly because they were Candor colours along with the fact it's not... welcoming enough. I never understood Amity, not because of the kindness and the peacefulness; well, mostly the peacefulness. Whenever it should come down to defending ourselves or walking away. We walked away. It confused me. Maybe I wasn't Amity enough to understand. Maybe I wasn't kind enough. Maybe, just maybe, I didn't belong here. So where do I belong? A/N : First chapter is a little sketchy but that is the case with all of my books. I promise it does get a lot better afterwards Start: Feb 06 2021 End: Dec 15 2021

(Cover art is 100% mine, don't believe me? My insta is @Pixxl_GLYPHY) (Based upon the song 'Deja Vu' by Olivia Rodrigo.) (NOT a beta AU, the betas are older siblings.) After three years, Luz, now a nonbinary 19 year old, has returned to Connecticut. After having taken her last two years of high school, and her freshman year of college in DC, she knew there was going to be changes, she was...prepared. the first change was how her ex Amity, this total badass, hot slice of cherry pie of a woman, was back with her ex girlfriend Boscha. Luz honestly didn't mind, but the fact that she was in the same double dorm as Boscha at Hexside Private University was kinda aggravating. It was quite often she was booted from her own goddamned dorm room, so boscha could "give it" to her side peice.. Luz's friend Willow. Instead of her own girlfriend. So Luz and Amity have spent a lot of time in Amity's single recapping shows and book series together, in the beginning Luz thought it was just one of their 'friend' meetups but, Amity loved it when the brunette knocked on her door, her heart and many other places ached for the muscular, jock built nonbinary. It was no secret amongst herself that she wanted to see and memorize Luz's abs, to feel her defined chest muscles she had surgery to make flat. to recognize the peach fuzz three months of testosterone gave her.. to drown in the smoothness of her voice. Amity still had it bad, Luz however had already accepted that Amity was taken, Amity.. hated that. So the struggle began for one girl, as the other happily went on with the last three years of college. ⚠️⚠️cursing, cigarette and alcohol use, sexual intercourse and possibly a few cases of assault(what school doesn't have a fistfight or two??)⚠️⚠️
