These horrible problems have caused several issues to New York and it must be stopped, before everything is destroyed. Lizzie, Andee, and Mallory, best friends, are trying to figure it all out.... Evelyn Sheer and the researchers are trying to create a genetic modification that enables humans to photosynthesize. Once in the facility, Evita is tagged as a test subject and loses all say over what happens to her body. She has to escape. By the time she comes up with a plan there is only one problem. Its Leah again here to rant about how obsessed I am with the new kid from NYC. He has such a bad boy vibe, not to mention all the rumors floating around town about why he got sent here. We don't get a lot of excitement around here in this small town. I spend most of my time as a ball of anxiety, but painting helps. My little sister Mia is like therapy when she sits down and paints with me. She is such a little angel. It seems like there's Never anything exciting, until the one day there was. After that day it became ritualistic and the secrets started to come out one traumatic event at a time Sincerely, Leah Brauner. This story is about a high school girl that has a crush on the new kid that just came to town from New York with a dark backstory. Not only does she have a new crush in town but there are a bunch of other secrets that have been coming to light with every sunrise the town sees. This town might be small but boy is there a lot of drama. The town police don't know what's worse, the splayed out animals or the missing high school girls. Leah doesn't know what to think as the town she knew as her home falls to shambles. Will she fall with the town or will she run away with the mystery man she has a secret obsession with.
