A single word left her lips.
"Why?"
A million thoughts ran through my head. I could write a whole book on why she's perfect.
Her laugh is beyond belief- every time I hear it I'm breathless. The cute giggles when she hears a corny joke that's not even funny. She'll laugh at anything, just because she thinks it's hilarious. She's so perky and happy all the time. How she's trying to get other people to smile because she cares. She knows what it's like to feel so hopeless, and she doesn't want anyone else to feel that way.
It's the way she can make anything grow with just some encouragement even if it's just some grass. It's like she has this touch of life, bringing not only plants back to life but also people. Also me. I was nothing before I found her and now she means everything to me.
Which is why I can't tell her.

"I have and so will you." He shook his head, shut his eyes, and leaned his forehead against the glass. "And here I was thinking you would admit that you don't tell the truth either." I gripped the telephone as my knuckles turned white. "What do you mean?" "Come on Zoey I've seen you sneaking around acting like you're busy. You're hiding something and you won't tell me." All Zoey Campbell ever wanted to do was keep her head down and get through high school. Too bad it isn't that easy. Zoey is tired of everything and everyone. She is tired of being pushed around and tired of watching in the shadows. She is tired of pretending to like that girl that doesn't even know her name. His family is broken, his mental health is slowly declining, and he's faced questioning his sexuality. Often left to sit in his bed on his phone most of the day, his reasons to live were slowly declining. Tom thought it was better this way.
