No one expected what happened to ever happen.  He was one of the best, so passionate and determined to become the number 1 hero, and he was so close to achieving it. 

But the League of Villains had other plans.  In the midst of the the final battle against Tomura Shigaraki, All For One's predecessor, class 1-A's very own Izuku Midoriya, known as the soon-to-be Pro Hero Deku, was severely injured and left in a coma with little hope of him ever waking up.  His friends were heartbroken, but none were as devastated as Ava, his classmate and best friend.

Ava had a history of her own, having transferred to UA High School towards the end of class 1-A's first year from America, but Izuku saw the best in her and inspired her on her path to redemption.  Desperate to find a way to save her friend, Ava hears rumors of a quirk with the ability to change a decision in a person's past and therefore change the present and future, but never does she imagine that this change of decision will have such grave outcomes, and when Ava first sees the glaring face of her once best friend, standing next to Tomura Shigaraki and the League of Villains, it becomes plainly clear.
