Whenever the weather started getting colder after Autumn's run, you knew it was the beginning of drinking lots of hot chocolate, sleepy nights by the fire, and joyous wonder. Winter meant snowball fights, snow days, and fun. Winter meant the smell of hot apple cider candles, preparation for Christmas, and many other great things.
To the outsiders, it would seem weird that an eighteen-year-old was so gleeful that it was snowing; that it was finally winter again. However, to the children within the neighborhood, they understood. Snow meant snow days, fun, and creativity. Snow meant hot chocolate, gingerbread cookies, and roasting marshmallows over the fire for s'mores.
Snow meant Jack Frost was back.
