Violet Wolffe, an ordinary she-wolf...right? Her story starts out with a kidnapping and confused mate. What she didn't expect was for her mate to choose someone else over her. Five years later and she finds herself happy with a new pack and a new partner. Who knew that, in the end, two alphas would be head over heels, or I guess you could say snout over paws, in love with her? Just as she thought life couldn't get any more confusing, old faces appear and threaten everything that means anything to her. Violet has to fight...even if it is against her own family. Warning: This book isn't the best written one by far... like at all, seriously.

A mate was something every Lycanthrope dreamt of having--other than Violet McKenna. Ever since her childhood best friend betrayed her, allowing her parents to send her to the Emberglade Institute for the Disobedient, she was done putting her trust and faith in others. There was just one problem. In this world, Alphas didn't have daughters. Daughters didn't run packs. Daughters were breeders, not readers. But as the daughter of the Alpha and Luna of the Pack of Strength, Violet refused to sit still and look pretty, desiring only to lead alongside her twin, Vincent. But she must put her dreams aside when her mother forced her to attend the Galae Nomen de Luna--an annual masquerade and the night every Lycanthrope above age seventeen in the Northern Hemisphere found their mate. And it just so happened to be Violet's eighteenth birthday. Meanwhile, upon Violet's return eleven years later, trouble was bubbling in the Northern packs, precious memories were stolen, arranged engagements arose, and the legend of the Lupus Nocte threatened to haunt again.
