Amelia Green lived all her life in an orphanage. Abandoned by her mother at age three, she's had to fend for herself at Luci's orphanage for the less privileged run by Lucinda Black, the resident crazy lady. Amelia was hated by all even Lucinda who wasn't really aware of her surroundings. Amelia was all alone when finally she decided to break free from the stereotypical world she once lived in to a world where everything and anything is possible ignorant to the fact that in so doing she would unlock her hidden power.

Ezra Beaumont, marquess of Winchester and future Duke, although thanks to his arrogance and narcissistic tendencies, he was sent to work down in the village with the local breadmaker in an attempt to humble him and make him a better person and better ruler by his parents the current Duke and Duchess of Winchester. Amelia's been trying to find her mother for as long as she can remember but all she has is a name. What neither Amelia nor Ezra knew, was that that name would connect them in a way neither would've ever imagined. She finds someone so broken under that cold exterior that she can't help but want to help him. They get thrown into a world of witches, wizards and magic and evil.
